HOURS FOR 2025 SUMMER & WINTER TAX COLLECTION
For the 2025 tax year, under State of Michigan law, Summer Taxes are due without interest July 1, 2025 through close of business September 15, 2025 (as the statutory due date of September 14th falls on a weekend). Winter Taxes are due without penalty on or before February 16, 2026. Payments for all unpaid taxes after February 16th, with interest and/or penalty, will be accepted through March 2, 2026. As of March 3, 2026, all unpaid taxes are owed to the Oakland County Treasurer with additional interest and penalty.

We are open Monday thru Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. During 2025 we will be closed on the following scheduled holidays:
Thursday, July 3, 2025 (Independence Day)
Monday, September 1, 2025 (Labor Day)
Thursday, November 27, 2025 (Thanksgiving)
Wednesday, December 24, 2025 (Christmas Eve)
Thursday, December 25, 2025 (Christmas Day)
Thursday, January 1, 2026 (New Year's Day)
Please note that Wednesday, December 31, 2025 is the last day the Township will be processing payments for taxes until the new year (7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.).
The Bloomfield Township Treasurer’s Office will accept 2025 Summer Tax Payments, with interest, and Winter Tax payments without penalty through close of business on Monday, February 16, 2026 at 5:30 PM.
Payments for all unpaid taxes after February 16th, with interest and/or penalty, will be accepted through Monday, March 2, 2026 at 5:30 PM.
Delinquent taxes come under Oakland County’s jurisdiction on Tuesday, March 3, 2026.
A 24-hour drop box is located in the front lobby. Please make sure to review your check and that the funds are available as we process drop-box payments throughout the day.
Please visit our Online Payments page for additional information. Credit Card Payments, with a fee, post immediately. Direct Deposit payments take an additional 2 days to be received and posted.
