The annual Bloomfield Township Open House is scheduled for Sunday October 13th from 11am to 3pm. Here is the perfect opportunity to see just some of the amazing services available here at the Township and meet a few of our dedicated employees – plus, donuts, popcorn and MORE!
In conjuncture with Fire Prevention Week, every department will be represented to offer fun activities, important information and lots & lots of giveaways.
You can look forward to:
- Fire safety and prevention tips courtesy of the Bloomfield Township Fire Department
- Bounce House courtesy of the Bloomfield Township Fire Department **note participants must wear socks
- Patrol car rides and a dunk tank courtesy of the Bloomfield Township Police Department
- Family style fun passport offered by the Clerk’s Office to guide your day
- Building a dog house courtesy of Planning, Building & Ordinance
- Truck displays courtesy of the Department of Public Works
- Rock Climbing Tower at Cable Department courtesy of Oakland County Parks **note closed-toe shoes ONLY and no one UNDER 45 lbs.

The family passport to fun is available at any Township station. Collect a stamp at all 10 stations for a chance to win these prizes***.
- Ride to School with Bloomfield Township PD
- Lunch with Bloomfield Township PD
- Dinner at Firehouse with Bloomfield Township FD
***must be Township resident.
Turn your passport in to the Clerk's Office tent for prize entry.
New for 2024! A performance stage featuring local artists courtesy of the Cable Department.
The Clerk's Office (inside Township Hall) will be OPEN for voting activities. You can register to vote, turn in your absentee ballot, and more!
There will also be a food truck area with local vendors, menus and pricing will be available the day of the event.
