Club Drive Sanitary Sewer Replacement
Bloomfield Township will be repairing a sanitary sewer on Club Drive road. The repair will consist of installing a new pier-supported 16” Ductile iron sanitary sewer and a new manhole structure. The length of the sewer repair is 177 feet. The repair will create a full road closure of Club Drive during the utility construction of the sanitary sewer project. Construction signage will be placed for the closure and the detour. Emergency vehicle and local driveway access for the closed section of Club Drive will be maintained throughout construction via a temporary gravel access road on the south side of the road. The project will begin on August 5 and is expected to be completed by September 15, 2024.

South Bloomfield Highlands Water Main Installation
Assessment District (SAD) majority approved by the South Bloomfield Highlands Residents, the existing water main distribution system in the South Bloomfield Highlands Subdivision is being replaced. The scope of work includes replacing the existing well system with an 8-inch diameter water main, replacing hydrants and gate valves, and abandoning the existing water main and well system. The new system will be tied over to the existing municipal water supply, which will eliminate the need for replacement and long-term maintenance of the existing well system. The project is currently under design with bidding anticipated later in 2024.

Sanitary Sewer Televising Investigative Project
Bloomfield Township will be conducting a sanitary sewer televising investigation on the east side of the Township. The subdivisions where the work will be conducted are Eastover Estates and Farms, Northover Farms, Charing Cross Highlands and Estates, and the Kentmoor subdivisions. The Township has contracted with Dukes to perform the investigation. Work will only be performed in the sanitary sewer easements. The work will be performed from the end of August until the end of September.
