Property Tax Due Date
Summer Taxes are due in the Treasurer’s Office by 5:30 p.m. on Monday, September 15, 2025.
A few reminders:
- Allow up to two (2) business days for direct deposit payments to post to your account.
- As postmarks are not accepted as proof of timely payment, please make sure to mail early or drop payment in the drop box at Township Hall, available 24/7.
- The Treasurer’s Office is open Monday thru Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (closed on Fridays) accepting cash, checks and credit cards at the counter.
Payment Options
The Bloomfield Township Treasurer’s Office processes payments for:
- Real and personal property tax statements
- Water & Sewer quarterly billing
- General revenue billing
ALL PAYMENT CHARGEBACKS OR REVERSALS MADE AFTER POSTING WILL BE ASSESSED A $25 NON-SUFFICIENT FUND FEE.
Customer Initiated Direct Deposit Payments (No Fees)
Payments are posted the day received in the office. Allow up to two (2) business days for direct deposit payments to post. (For example, payments made on Friday will post on Tuesday; payments made on Tuesday will post on Thursday.) This is a free service provided by Bloomfield Township.
To initiate a direct deposit payment for your property taxes over the internet click on the direct deposit link below.
To initiate a direct deposit payment over the phone, dial 800-438-9926 and follow the instructions. When prompted, enter the appropriate access code from below.
Access code:
- Real and personal property taxes: 3468
You will need to know:
- The parcel number
- The routing and account numbers of the checking or savings bank account you want debited and
- The amount of the payment. Be sure to include any interest or penalties due.

Credit Card Payments - Taxes (Fees Apply*)
Taxes may be paid by credit card online or at the counter.
You will be informed of the convenience fee, based on the amount being paid, prior to finalizing your payment. The tax payment site will be available July 1 through February 28.
