Transparency is nothing new to the Bloomfield Township Police Department, nor is it something defined merely by our policies or the law. Rather, it is ingrained in our department’s culture, an understanding that we are answerable to the public. At the same time, transparency is a natural result when a government agency is already following best practices and holding its employees to high standards. It is in this spirit that we post the policies of the Bloomfield Township Police Department.
The Bloomfield Township Police Department has created an extensive document describing Department Policies and Procedures that officers must follow. Read the details of our Police Department Policies.
