Educational Workshop Powerful Tools for Caregivers
Mondays July 8-August 26 |
1-2:30 PM | This 7-week educational workshop is designed to help family caregivers take care of themselves while caring for a relative or friend. Topics include: communicating effectively with family and health care providers, reducing stress, feelings of guilt, anger, depression, making tough decisions, self-care and relaxation techniques. The final week will be a dementia simulation – Dementia Live which immerses participants into life with dementia. | Complimentary workshop presented by AgeWays. |
