Community Media Day Awards and Proclamation

Community Media Day is an annual celebration that brings awareness to the importance of free speech and accessible media for all. Cable and Community Relations Director Carrie LeZotte would like to take this opportunity to present a few awards to outstanding community partners and producers.

Join us join us at the Township Board of Trustees meeting on Monday, October 28, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. in the Township Hall Auditorium, to acknowledge some individuals who have made an impact on our community.

BCTV Open House & Orientation

Join us for the BCTV Open House.

A studio orientation will be held prior to the Open House at 3:00 p.m. Attendance at an Orientation is a prerequisite for those residents who are interested in producing a program on BCTV.

BCTV Performance Stage at The Bloomfield Township Open House

BCTV's contribution to the Township Open House this year was the BCTV performance stage. This stage featured diverse talents from local artists throughout the event.

Free Digital Literacy Workshops

September 25th
10 a.m. - 5 p.m.

This September we hosted a series of free 30-minute digital literacy presentations with Q&A by staff and special guests.

Documentary Youth Workshop

BCTV hosted its first Documentary Youth Workshop this past June.  This workshop ran in conjuncture with the Township Police Department's Regional Youth Academy (RYA), and was geared for students ages 14-18. Young filmmakers told the stories of RYA cadets with guidance from BCTV Staff. Participants learned interview techniques, pre-production strategies, hands-on camera training, and editing. The final short video created by the students (shown below) was shown at the RYA Graduation Ceremony.
