Weekly collection of yard waste starts the week of March 15 every year and ends the third full week of December every year. This year, the service will resume on Monday March 11.

This service is suspended in the winter months, since the goal of yard waste collection is to have the yard waste processed into useable compost material. The cold weather slows down this compost process, and it even comes to a halt anytime the temperature drops to freezing (32 degrees Fahrenheit). Because of this, state law restricts when waste can be collected.

Once spring approaches, yard waste collection will resume. Keep in the loop at Yard Waste.
