ATTENTION RESIDENTS: your help is needed for the February 27 Presidential Primary! Here in Bloomfield Township, we need more Precinct Inspectors.

Per Bloomfield Township Election Specialist Catarina Yankey, “We are looking for community-oriented individuals that would like to work in our precincts on Election Day. Workers do a variety of tasks within the precinct like confirming the voter’s identity, checking them in, and issuing them a ballot.”

Please consider participating in this vital component of the election process. Pay starts at $200/day (6am-9pm) and training is provided.

You do not need to be a Township resident but in order to be considered for this election position, you must be registered to vote. Finally, you cannot have a felony conviction on your record. If you meet these requirements and are interested, please download the Election Inspector Application. Once completed, please return via Email.

Additionally, children 16-17 can work as Precinct Inspectors. This role qualifies as community service credit that can be applied to school records and/or transcripts. Parental/Guardian permission is required for this opportunity, please email Caterina Yankey for a copy of the form.
