The Bloomfield Township Police Department is currently investigating a serious injury traffic crash which occurred on northbound Telegraph Road, north of Square Lake Road, near the Uncle Ed’s Oil Shoppe. At approximately 4:30pm on August 9, 2022 a 2009 Subaru Forester driven by a Clarkston resident attempted to cross over northbound Telegraph Road to access a shopping plaza. The Subaru collided with a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee which was traveling northbound on Telegraph Road and driven by a Bloomfield Hills resident. Members of S.O.C.C.I.T. (Southeast Oakland County Crash Investigation Team) assisted with the scene investigation.
