THE CHARTER TOWNSHIP OF BLOOMFIELD NOTICE OF REGISTRATION FOR THE GENERAL ELECTION TO BE HELD ON TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 3, 2026 

To the qualified electors of the CHARTER TOWNSHIP OF BLOOMFIELD, County of Oakland:

Any qualified elector of Bloomfield Township who is not already registered may register to vote at the Bloomfield Township Clerk’s Office, the office of the County Clerk, a Secretary of State branch office, or other designated state agency. Registration forms can be obtained at https://mvic.sos.state.mi.us/ and mailed to the Township Clerk. Voters who are already registered may also update their registration.

The last day to register in any manner other than in-person with the local clerk is Monday, October 19, 2026. After this date, anyone who qualifies as an elector may register to vote in person with proof of residency (MCL 168.497) at the Bloomfield Township Clerk’s Office, located at 4200 Telegraph, Bloomfield Hills, MI, 48302 at the following times:  

  • Regular business hours: Monday – Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. 

  • Friday, October 23, 2026, 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. 

  • Friday, October 30, 2026, 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. 

  • Saturday, October 31, 2026, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  

  • Election Day, Tuesday, November 3, 2026, 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. 

The election will be conducted in all voting precincts of the Charter Township of Bloomfield for the purpose of electing candidates for the following offices: 

STATE Governor, Secretary of State, Attorney General 

CONGRESSIONAL United States Senator, Representative in Congress 

LEGISLATIVE State Senator, Representative in State Legislature 

STATE BOARDS Member of the State Board of Education, Regent of the University of Michigan, Trustee of Michigan State University, Governor of Wayne State University 

NONPARTISAN Justice of Supreme Court, Judge of Court of Appeals – 2nd District, Judge of Circuit Court - 6th Circuit, Judge of Probate Court, Judge of District Court – 48th District 

COMMUNITY COLLEGE Board of Trustees Member – Oakland Community College 

LOCAL SCHOOL DISTRICT Board Member 

 And to vote on the following ballot proposals: 

STATE: A Proposal to Convene a Constitutional Convention for the Purpose of Drafting a General Revision of the State Constitution;  

A Proposed Initiated Law to Prohibit Campaign Contributions from Certain Regulated Utilities and Government Contractors and Apply Campaign Finance Law and Regulations to Additional Types of Political Communications 

 AUTHORITY: Renewal of Oakland County Zoological Authority Millage in Support of the Detroit Zoo 

 MILLAGE PROPOSAL: Southeast Michigan Public Historical Museum Authority 

 TOWNSHIP: Township Facilities Bond Proposal
