NOTICE OF NOVEMBER 3, 2026 GENERAL ELECTION
THE CHARTER TOWNSHIP OF BLOOMFIELD
To the Qualified Electors of the CHARTER TOWNSHIP OF BLOOMFIELD, County of Oakland:
The General Election will be held in the CHARTER TOWNSHIP OF BLOOMFIELD, County of Oakland, on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. for the purpose of electing candidates for the following offices:
STATE Governor, Secretary of State, Attorney General
CONGRESSIONAL United States Senator, Representative in Congress
LEGISLATIVE State Senator, Representative in State Legislature
STATE BOARDS Member of the State Board of Education, Regent of the University of Michigan, Trustee of Michigan State University, Governor of Wayne State University
NONPARTISAN Justice of Supreme Court, Judge of Court of Appeals – 2nd District, Judge of Circuit Court - 6th Circuit, Judge of Probate Court, Judge of District Court – 48th District
COMMUNITY COLLEGE Board of Trustees Member – Oakland Community College
LOCAL SCHOOL DISTRICT Board Member
And to vote on the following ballot proposals:
STATE: A Proposal to Convene a Constitutional Convention for the Purpose of Drafting a General Revision of the State Constitution;
A Proposed Initiated Law to Prohibit Campaign Contributions from Certain Regulated Utilities and Government Contractors and Apply Campaign Finance Law and Regulations to Additional Types of Political Communications
AUTHORITY: Renewal of Oakland County Zoological Authority Millage in Support of the Detroit Zoo
MILLAGE PROPOSAL: Southeast Michigan Public Historical Museum Authority
TOWNSHIP: Township Facilities Bond Proposal

For assistance in obtaining voting instructions in alternative formats such as audio and Braille, please contact the Bloomfield Township Clerk’s Office in advance of the election. All polling locations are accessible for voters with disabilities.
Persons wishing to obtain an absentee ballot may do so by contacting the Bloomfield Township Clerk’s Office, Monday – Thursday, 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. In addition, the Clerk’s Office will be open Friday, October 23,
Noon – 5:00 p.m., Friday, October 30, Noon – 5:00 p.m. and Saturday, October 31, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. to assist with election-related business.
The deadline to spoil an absentee ballot that has been returned to the clerk is Friday, October 23, 5:00 p.m. The last day for requesting an absentee ballot by mail is Friday, October 30, 5:00 p.m. Registered electors may obtain an absent voter ballot in person in the Clerk’s Office up to 4:00 p.m., Monday, November 2, 2026.
