The Bloomfield Township Open House returns on Sunday, September 28, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Stop by to explore the wide range of services your Township offers, meet our dedicated staff, and enjoy treats like donuts, popcorn, and more.
Every Township department has family-friendly activities, important information, and giveaways planned. You won’t want to miss the Fire Department’s live demonstration at 12:00 p.m., full of life-saving and impactful fire prevention tips. The Police Department will offer many activities, including a dunk tank that will benefit the Special Olympics. This is a chance to meet the first responders who serve your community and get to know them on a personal level.
Families can also participate in our “Passport to Fun.” Coordinated by the Clerk’s Office, this activity provides kids with their own passport that they are encouraged to have stamped at each Township department. Once passports are complete with 10 stamps, residents can enter into a raffle for prizes that include two rides to school from BTFD and lunch with BTPD.
Additionally, you can look forward to:
· Building a Doghouse courtesy of Planning, Building & Ordinance
· Truck Display courtesy of the Department of Public Works
· Driving Simulator courtesy of the Oakland Police Academy
