On Wednesday, October 15, 2025, the Bloomfield Township Senior Center and the Bloomfield Hills Rotary Club will be hosting a blood drive in partnership with the American Red Cross. Every two seconds, someone in the United States needs blood, the Red Cross says.

Blood donation fosters a spirit of solidarity and compassion. It brings communities together and reminds us of our shared responsibility to care for one another. By donating blood, you’re helping to save lives. It's a small effort with an immeasurable impact.

The Rotary International theme in 2025-26 is "Unite for Good," emphasizing the power of human connection to create positive change. Join Rotarian volunteers in this small effort that creates an immeasurable impact.

Bloomfield Township Senior Services Director and long-time Rotarian Christine Tvaroha proclaims, “Time and compassion are all that is needed.”

She concludes, “please give a gift that is quite literally life-changing.”
