Election Day is Tuesday, November 8 and the Clerk's Office would like to remind residents of the following:
- Precincts open at 7a.m. and close at 8p.m.
- All precincts are at the same location as the August Primary election. Find your precinct on the map.
- If you want to vote, but have not yet registered, you can register to vote in the Clerk's Office until 8p.m. on Election Day. Find the qualifications to register and what documents are required if registering tomorrow.
- Voters who were mailed an absentee ballot, but have decided to vote in person at the precinct must bring the unvoted absentee ballot to the precinct. If the absentee ballot has been lost or destroyed, you will be required to complete an affidavit. If an absentee ballot is left at home, election workers at the precinct can't issue a new ballot.
- Picture ID is to be presented at the precinct for all voters. Voters who do not have picture ID must complete an affidavit that they are not in possession of their identification. Find acceptable forms of ID.
- The Clerk's Office will be open on Friday, November 4th from 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. and Saturday, November 5th from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
- Sample Ballots can be found on the Township website.
- Friday at 5pm is the time set by law for two important matters. First, that is the deadline for a person who has returned their absentee ballot to the Clerk’s office to submit a written request to spoil that ballot and receive a new one. Second, that is the deadline for a person to apply to receive an absentee ballot via US Mail.
