Water Meter Installation

After picking up the permit(s) from the Planning, Building & Ordinance Department, the contractor will be directed to pick up the new water meter from the Department of Public Works. If an Existing Water Service Line Verification Form has been accepted by the Department of Public Works, an existing meter will be replaced by Public Works staff as part of the Townships Meter Replacement Program.

REMINDER: the Township will install new stop boxes as part of this project; the homeowner is only responsible to pay a plumber to connect to the new stop box, no additional charge for the new stop box being installed.
