ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS

The following appeals will be heard:

1P.) The owner of the property at 78 Highland Dr. is seeking approval for a Permission Request and Dimensional Variance Request for two 7 ft. by 4 ft. by 8 ft. high sheds located in the rear yard encroaching 15 ft. into the 16 ft. required side yard setbacks.

2P.)The owner of the property at 1267 Greenglen Ct. is seeking approval for a Dimensional Variance Request to install a ground mounted mechanical unit, air conditioner, not immediately adjacent to the residential structure.

  1. The owner of the property at 3551 Burning Bush Rd. is seeking approval for a Dimensional Variance Request to install a generator, to be located in the easterly side yard encroaching 1 ft. into the minimum required 10 ft. side yard setback for mechanical units. 
  2. The owner of the property at 984 Waddington Rd. is seeking approval for a Dimensional Variance Request to expand the existing attached garage to encroach 2 ft. into the required 16 ft. northerly side yard setback as part of an overall project to add and expand to an existing single family residence. 
  3. The owner of the property at 6360 Hills Dr. is seeking approval for Permission Requests for the following structures, located in the rear yard and located more than 16 ft. from all property lines:  
    1. A 2 ft. by 32 ft. by 10 ft. high cedar garden trellis;  
    2. A 5-foot diameter gas firepit. 
  4. The owner of the property at 1375 Indian Mound E. is seeking approval for a Dimensional Variance Request for a generator located in the westerly Indian Mound Trail secondary frontage. 
  5. The owner of the property at 2595 W. Hickory Grove Rd. is seeking approval for a Permission Request and Dimensional Variance Request for an 8 ft. by 10 ft. by 8 ft. high shed located in the easterly Hickory Ct. secondary frontage. 
  6. The owner of the property at 1898 W. Square Lake Rd. is seeking approval for a Permission Request and a Dimensional Variance Request for an existing 10 ft. by 12 ft. by 10 ft. high pergola, encroaching 2 ft. into the 16 ft. northerly rear yard setback. 
  7. The owner of the property at 3914 W. Orchard Hill Dr. is seeking approval for Permission Requests for two existing 8 ft. by 8 ft. by 14 ft. high play forts, located in the rear yard, and 16 ft. from all property lines.
  8. The owner of the property at 4355 Risdon Ct. is seeking approval for a Permission Request and a Dimensional Variance Requests to demolish the existing detached garage and construct a new 24 ft. by 24 ft. by 14 ft. high detached garage, located in the Cedar Bend Dr. secondary frontage that will also encroach 11 ft. into the required 16 ft. southerly side yard setback and exceed the permitted accessory space allotment of 1,119 sq. ft. by 177 sq. ft. 
  9. The owner of the property at 5190 Provincial Dr. is seeking approval for a Permission Request and Dimensional Variance Request for a 32 ft. by 22 ft. by 13 ft. high pool house that exceeds the permitted accessory space allotment of 1,096 sq. ft. by 29 sq. ft.
  10. The owner of the property at 1222 W. Long Lake Rd. is seeking approval for Permission Requests and Dimensional Variance Requests for the following items located in the W. Long Lake Rd. secondary frontage:  
    1. Two 3 ft. by 3 ft. by 6 ft. 3 in. high illuminated piers; 
    2. Two 3 ft. by 3 ft. by 3 ft. high non-illuminated piers; 
    3. Two 16 ft. long front yard walls, with a maximum height of 6 ft., that connect the piers. 
  11. The owner of the property at 5560 Franklin Rd. is seeking approval for Permission Requests and Dimensional Variance Requests to construct two illuminated 3 ft. by 3 ft. by 6 ft. high masonry driveway entrance pillars. 
  12. The owner of the property at 1890 W. Square Lake Rd. is seeking approval for a Permission Request and Dimensional Variance Requests for the following items located in the W. Square Lake Rd. frontage:  
    1. Two 2 ft. by 2 ft. by 7 ft. high illuminated piers;  
    2. A 6 ft. high driveway gate.  
  13. The owner of the property at 1612 Lochridge Rd. is seeking approval for a Dimensional Variance Request to encroach 11 ft. into the 25 ft. Natural Features Setback to remove existing rotten timber steps and restore the area with native seed mix. 
  14. The owner of the property at 6060 Braemoor Rd. is seeking approval for Permission Requests and Dimensional Variance Requests for the following:  
    1. Four decorative illuminated stone piers: 
      1. Two 2 ft. by 2 ft. by 4 ft. high stone piers located in the Braemoor Rd. frontage; 
      2. Two 2 ft. by 2 ft. by 4 ft. high stone piers located in the Idlewyle Rd. secondary frontage. 
    2. A decorative 3 ft. high wing wall in the Idlewyle Rd. secondary frontage; 
    3. A 4 ft. high gate located in the Braemoor Rd. frontage; 
    4. A 6 ft. high screen fence for a 7 ft. by 8 ft. trash storage area in the rear yard; 
    5. An 8 ft. by 8 ft. by 3 ft. high above ground hot tub, located 16 ft. from all property lines in the westerly side yard; 
    6. An 8 ft. by 6 ft. by 7 ft. high existing above ground residential sauna, located 16 ft. from all property lines in the westerly side yard; 
    7. A 12 ft. by 10 ft. by 10 ft. high existing storage shed, located 16 ft. from all property lines in the westerly side yard. 
  15. The owner of the property at 2635 Heathfield Rd. is seeking approval for a Permission Request and Dimensional Variance Request to install a 4 ft. high dog enclosure fence encroaching 25 ft. into the required 25 ft. southerly rear yard setback and 16 ft. into the westerly 16 ft. side yard setback. 
  16. The owner of the property at 5192 Hollow Ct. is seeking approval for a Permission Request and Dimensional Variance Request for a 4 ft. high dog enclosure fence that encroaches 15 ft. into the 25 ft. rear yard setback and is also located in the Woodview Dr. secondary frontage. 
  17. The owner of the property at 1415 S. Telegraph Rd. is seeking approval for a Permission Request to install commercial EV chargers in the Old S. Telegraph Rd. frontage of the BP Gas Station.
