Construction of a new safety path along Franklin Road from Square Lake to Telegraph, north on Telegraph to the entrance to the Bloomfield Township Square Shopping Center, and on the north side of Square Lake Road from Franklin Road to Telegraph Road will commence this Monday, June 24. This project will provide additional pedestrian connectivity to the commercial area on Telegraph north of Square Lake Road. During this project, there will be lane closures in the project area. The right lane of north bound Telegraph will be closed through much of the project duration, and there will be intermittent lane closures on Square Lake Road and Franklin Roads as well.
