On Monday, October 13, 2025, the Bloomfield Township Board of Trustees Meeting included an update from the recently formed Road Advisory Committee (RAC). Formed in March of 2025, the RAC is a volunteer group that meets bimonthly to review current road conditions, identify problem areas, and discuss practical solutions for improvement. The presentation, led by RAC Chairman Jeff Salz, included:

3:39 – the current Pavement Surface Evaluation and Rating (PASER), which assesses 80% of the Township roads as being “poor.”

7:10 - the local leaders and resources that were consulted to begin the RAC’s mission.

24:00 - a review of Michigan Public Act 51, which established the Michigan Transportation Fund, and its current lack of significant funding.
