Bloomfield Township Trustees Seek Candidates for Position on Zoning Board of Appeals
The Bloomfield Township Board of Trustees is seeking qualified candidates to fill a vacancy on the Zoning Board of Appeals for an Alternate Member.
The Zoning Board of Appeals considers requests for relief from strict compliance from the Zoning Ordinance regulations, and other specified requests. It meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. Members of the Zoning Board of Appeals serve a three-year term. The Alternate Member serves as needed in the absence of a Regular Member. An open term for the Zoning Board of Appeals expires January 1, 2026.
To be considered, a person must be a Township elector, 18 years of age or older, who is a U.S. citizen and has lived at least 30 days in Bloomfield Township. The applicant must write a letter of interest and submit a current resume. The Board will review and consider information from all applicants and make a selection.
The letter of interest and resume must be submitted to the Township Supervisor’s Office by 5:30 p.m., Monday, November 11, 2024. The Office, located at 4200 Telegraph Road, is open between 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday. It is closed on Fridays. The phone number is 248.433.7725.
