The 9/11 Memorial 5k/10k on September 10, 2022 was a huge success for the Bloomfield Township Police Honor Guard with over 100 runners participating! The main purpose of the Honor Guard is to honor and stand watch over law enforcement officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice. They are self-funded through donations and fundraiser and this event helped raise over $10,000 that will go toward outfitting and the addition of new members.
"We deeply appreciate all who came out to support this cause and the over 100 runners who participated in the race," said Community Relations Officer Nick Soley. "We hope to make this an annual event that will continue for years to come!"
