Leaves changing colors, football tailgates, and cider mills are all signs that fall is upon us. With each
season, we prepare our schedules, our homes, and ourselves to plan for success and to make sure we
can weather any storms that may come. In the Township, that means making sure that our departments are
fully staffed and ready to help you with any services you may need. No matter if it’s the Building Department
focusing on permits and inspections to ensure your homes are safe and ready, our Department of Public Works making sure you have safe and clean drinking water, our Fire Department answering the call to keep your health and homes safe from
harm, our Police Department responding in your time of need to protect and keep you safe from danger, or the many other departments that stand ready to serve you each day, we are all here for you. Whether in times of happiness or times of need, our staff is here to help you prepare for anything that may come your way.
Even after living in Bloomfield Township for 52 years, the natural beauty and diversity of the people, the fall colors, and this community always inspire me. Looking back, we have come incredibly far from times of crisis. Now that our services are fully staffed to serve, we can focus on our bright future together. We now shift our sights to preparing for the next 5 years and implementing the Strategic Plan that was built by residents of all ages, community service providers, business, educational, and faith leaders to benefit the community at large. You answered the call, and you helped us to focus our resources so we can continue to thrive together as a premier community!
