With this in mind, Bloomfield Township Police Department (BTPD) wants you to keep abreast of crime statistics and potential trends via CLEMIS Public Crime Search (arcgis.com). This is an updated version of CRIMEMAPPING, which had a number of user issues.
CLEMIS is a new county-wide program with the same benefits as the previous program.
The public is able to use this program to search crime in the area, when and where they occurred, and even sign up to receive alerts on certain crimes in a defined boundary by simply using a valid email address.
