The Clerk’s Office is committed to continuous improvement. In 2022, special focus was placed upon voter access and absentee ballot security. We installed the first ever drive-up elections dropbox for Township absentee voters. In November, 2,130 residents returned their absentee ballot via this dropbox. We increased control, security, and chain of custody procedures throughout the absentee ballot process and adopted additional reviews to maintain an accurate list of registered voters.
The Clerk’s Office also administered many public meetings throughout 2022, and served the needs of this community with a variety of residential services as shown in our annual Facts & Figures Report.
