Under a court order, the Michigan Independent Citizens’ Redistricting Commission has redrawn the Michigan House Districts. The results are in and there is nearly no impact on Bloomfield Township from the redrawn map. All precincts lines and voting locations are unchanged. The geographic composition of 4 out of the 5 House Districts remain exactly the same -- Districts 19, 29, 54, 56. One district covering the south part of precinct 10 (drawn blue in map) was previously in District 5, but will now be in a redrawn District 6, which no longer includes parts of Detroit.
