Long Lake Road, west of Kirk in the Hills, has reopened. This is still an ongoing construction zone. The sanitary sewer and water main replacement portions of the project are completed with the road temporarily patched. Due to the temporary road patching and construction zone, residents should take care when traveling through this portion of Long Lake Road. The permanent road patching along with final restoration consisting of the placement of sod, trees, and the safety path will occur in the spring/summer.
