The below letter went out to Bloomfield Hills Schools families yesterday to address the increase in school threats.

Bloomfield Township Police Chief James Gallagher was instrumental in organizing the response to the increase of threats made to schools. "This is something that schools are seeing everywhere," said Gallagher. "We need to address this issue as a community."
Meetings with community partners will be ongoing. “I am thankful to Chief Gallagher and Superintendent Pat Watson for bringing the groups together to collaborate and I look forward to our ongoing partnership,” said Supervisor Dani Walsh.
The letter details action items for parents to consider and the consequences that result from prosecuting a threat.
