Starting Wednesday June 21st and ending August 23rd Bloomfield Township will be hosting Food Truck Wednesdays. A different food truck will be featured every week (excluding July 5th) on the Township Campus located behind Bloomfield Community Television at 4190 Dublin. It is open to both Bloomfield Township employees and the entire community at large.
“We don’t have a gathering area for employees or residents to relax and share a lunch,” said Bloomfield Township Supervisor Dani Walsh. “I saw how food truck events brought people together and hope these events bring the greater community together from my fellow residents, to friends in neighboring towns, as well as Township employees and others who work in the area. I’m truly thankful for the hard work of Township employees, Jenn Werthman and Sue Bowlin, who collaborated with me to bring Food Truck Wednesdays to the Bloomfield Township Campus! I look forward to seeing all of you this summer!”
This summer-long event will include the following local vendors:
Hearth, Wood and Fire Pizza, Twisted Street BBQ, The Terry Melt, Tacos Te Amo, Polish Mania, and more.
A dining area will be provided with all welcome, whether you partake of the food truck or brown bag it. Menus and pricing for each will vary. We do recommend following any and all of these food trucks on social media to stay informed. You can find an official schedule here.
